An Old Spice Combats Prostate Cancer

There’s a new secret weapon in the war against prostate cancer. Here’s a hint – you may find it in your kitchen. Wait! Don’t dig through your cabinets yet…

Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in men. Advanced prostate cancer cells are barely responsive to chemotherapy. Surgery or chemo can be damaging – depression, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction… Fortunately, there’s new hope.

The study comes from Dr. Ah-Ng Tony Kong. He’s a professor at Rutgers University Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. Dr. Kong has dedicated his work to studying cancer prevention and treatment. He’s published over 25 peer reviewed studies.

He focuses on chemopreventative agents as cures and prostate cancer. The results of this study are remarkable. It was even published in Cancer Research – the most frequently-cited cancer journal in the world.

New Solution with Old Roots

Dr. Kong’s research combines prevention and treatment by using a single weapon. One that most of us have consumed… Or at least heard about.

The prostate cancer rate in the U.S. is much higher than in eastern countries. Dr. Kong and his research team investigated cures based on diet differences. They found the secret weapon. It happens to be a common spice. Dr. Kong tested his weapon on the enemy – prostate cancer cells.

Using injections, Dr. Kong found that the spice “significantly retarded” growth of cancerous tumors. He injected human prostate cancer cells with the compound. Kong undertook the study to evaluate how effective it would be “to prevent and possibly treat prostate cancer.”

The University of Maryland Medical Center states that the spice “may help prevent, control, or kill several types of cancers, including prostate, breast, skin, and colon.”

A study by Dr. Dorah Deeb published in Molecular Cancer Therapeutics agrees. According to her research, the spice “has been shown to exhibit chemopreventive and growth inhibitory activities against multiple tumor cell lines.”

Dr. Bharat Aggarwal is a professor at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. He also believes this spice can combat cancer. “Extensive research over the last 50 years has indicated this polyphenol can both prevent and treat cancer,” says Dr. Aggarwal.

That’s not all. It’s also a powerful antioxidant. Which means that it protects cells from damage. Plus, this super spice stops the growth of blood vessels that supply cancerous tumors f. Sounds amazing, right?

Here’s the Problem and the Solution

Most Americans consume only small traces of this spice. And there’s a high incidence of prostate cancer in the U.S. To compare, the disease is very low in India, where the population consumes much more of this powerful compound. It’s simple – Americans should consume more.

An ancient plant, a bright modern cuisine, a scientific cure… We’ll tell you exactly what this spice is and how to get it on Friday.

We’ll also review Dr. Kong’s findings. He can make the spice an even more powerful weapon. You can do it at home too! You’ll also learn how to get it in your own diet.
